Condolences
What a shock to read of Joanne's passing! She was an Earth Angel and working with her was a delight. Knew her since our days at the TransCanada Phone Centre way back in 1979!!! Now she is reunited with her loved ones , golfing with the Angels and watching over her dearly beloved family here on earth. Rest In Peace Joanne.
Joanne was like a mom to me in that, she was there when i needed some help figuring out why Jessica(her first grandchild) wouldnt stop crying. Joanne suggested we go for a drive with the 3 of us at a ridiculous hour in the wee hours of the a.m. Jess finally fell asleep❤. I went for coffee with Joanne a couple years ago and thankfully had the opportunity to sit with her 1 to 1 and thank her for being such an incredible role model, support as a mom like figure, and an amazing grandmother.
Most recently, Joanne reached out and we went for wings in Calgary. We sat and talked about just everything and it was so nice. For 35 years, Joanne was a huge part of my life even if we didn't always get a chance to sit and visit. An amazing and strong lady i will always admire❤❤❤
Joanne was a bright light in the world and we shared many good times in our time working together at TELUS. My deepest condolences to the family

Wish we could be there to pay tribute to this wonderful woman who was truly a shining light and left this world far too early on her journey. Joanne and Jerry were our neighbors and friends in Palm Springs and we enjoyed many fun times with them. Whether it was on the golf course, at a ladies night or a clubhouse event Joanne always brought with her, her enormous zest for life and fun and turned many events into hysterical occasions, where her wonderful laugh and mischievous grin lit up the room. She was always the first on the dance floor as well as to volunteer to assist at events with setup and cleanup. She always took great pride in her family and friends and shared their experiences with us and her overwhelming love was always evident. Our condolences to the family for your great loss. I loved working with Joanne at TELUS - she was such a positive influence on so many people and I count myself lucky to call her a friend. I was also able to enjoy her fabulous company at various TELUS events and loved catching up with Joanne at the monthly Women's Canadian Club of Calgary luncheons at the Palliser. I will miss her laugh - it would always brighten my day. Sending my deepest sympathies to the family.
