Condolences
I came across this purely by chance. Maureen, I haven't seen or talked to you for many years, but please accept condolences from my family to yours. I remember your Mom from when we practiced our folk songs at your house many years ago. Mary Caza Morrison and George Morrison - DeBolt, AB.
I offer my sympathy to you, Lori, and to your sisters for the loss of your mom. Losing a mom and losing the last parent--I hear they are especially difficult passings. You have both of these to deal with and during a pandemic. That being said, thinking back to Rod's parents' passings and my dad's, there was a sense of family and closeness in a time of loss and sadness. I wish this for you. xoxo Febe
Our thoughts are with you all as you mourn the loss of your mom, grandmom and great grandmother. I have so many incredible memories of Aunt Edna and our two families sharing so many holidays together including snowmobiling at the farm on so many New Years Day as mom and Aunt Edna made dinner. Wish we could all be with you during this time but we are there in spirit with you and your entire family.

It is with great sadness that I Clarice heard of Edna’s passing. I started working for Maureen and Brian many years ago as I own a cleaning company. I was then asked to help out Edna in the upkeep of her condo. I loved our visits . She always greeted us with a smile and shared not only her love of her family but many great memories of her life. Edna kept us in line and there was no messing about! Nothing got past her! Although ever time we came she smiled and always sent us out the door with a box of cookies or treats. I will miss her dearly as will Courtney and Loretta. We were her team and we enjoyed every moment we spent with her. God bless Edna rest easy and until we meet again. The Dust Bunnies cleaning company .

I was sorry to read in today’s paper of your family’s loss of Edna. It was always a pleasure to visit with her over the years and I know that she will be greatly missed. The Morrells were our farm neighbours in the Ferry Hill district at Provost and our parents were life long friends. My mom was always delighted when any of the Morrell family visited. I suspect the photo of Edna standing in the grain field was taken at the family farm which was a mile “up the road” from our place.
I have shared your loss with my brother Jim and we both send our heartfelt sympathy. Edna was a classy lady and will be well remembered.
Sincerely
Donna ( Cromarty) Paynter
