Obituary of Christopher THOMPSON

February 23, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Christopher (Chris) Thompson, beloved husband of Susan Thompson (nee Shearer) and father of Ellen and Natalie Thompson, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 62 years.

Chris was a wonderful father, husband, and friend. Chris was known for his very generous spirit. It’s amazing how many people saw Chris as a father figure. He oozed kindness, grace, and understanding. He was a supporter, and promoter of women.

His love of sports was a primary focus of Chris’ life. He met many of his close friends playing football, and carried his passion forward by coaching and mentoring young people. He shared his warm smile, his encouraging words, and had a fierce belief that everyone can succeed with hard work.

Chris was full of love and laughter, and his absence will be felt by many.
