Condolences
Richard and family, I'm so sorry that Joc has passed. She was one of those special people that you never forget, always open and friendly, always with a smile on her face. I always enjoyed catching up with her at the annual BOMA banquet. The two of you made a wonderful, dynamic team, Richard!
My very sincere condolences.
Richard, Uncle Bill and Family, condolences to all of you on your loss. Joc was such a dynamic person and so much fun to be with. It is so sad to realize we won't be able to see her when we come to visit. We will have to make do with our memories, which we will treasure all the more now. I first met my cousin when I came out for a visit from Winnipeg one summer when I was 13 and Joc was just a baby, so those memories are a little dim, but I got to know her better in our later years when we travelled out from the Coast and camped in the front yard in Airdrie. And of course, we spent some good times on the golf course, not the golfing part, but getting to know each other again.
Joc will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but will never be forgotten, as an inspiration and a great and generous person.
Love,
Chris and Jean

Dear Richard, Our deepest condolences to all the family..Jocelyn was a wonderful lady full of spirit and fun..I fondly remember those ringette games and enjoyed sharing a coffee at Tim’s after swimming..we had many conversations about cars and she was going to help me get the best deal. May her laughter and fond memories-be always in your heart. Your tribute and service was beautiful..Kim van Biezen
Jocelyn is my Auntie. This is the part where she would give me a light elbow or push and interject with “Favourite. I’m the favourite Auntie” Anyone I ever introduced her to can attest to this experience. She was so full of love, life, humour and positivity and that is something to be admired. I got my love of floating on the lake from her and will think of her each time I enjoy a float. She’s given me a lot of great advice over the years that I’ll cherish and she will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have known her. Today was hard and sad and I know she would be so proud of Robin, Kim, Cory & Richard for their speeches. Sending you all lots of love, xox

I was one of many who helped Joc get into trouble with. We just had too much fun together. There wasn't much that either of us wouldn't do. I moved to BC and was so happy to see Joc at their cabin.
I miss you already but nothing can take away the wonderful memories. RIP Dear Friend
Richard. We are sorry to hear of Jocelyn's passing. Our thoughts will be with you and your family this Saturday.

I have three distinct memories with Jocelyn. The first was the day her and Richard were married and the two of them standing before us all with huge smiles on their faces.
The second was at my husband's (another Richard) 40th birthday (1990). I had the house filled with helium balloons and it was -40C that night. At around 2 AM Joc and I were in the living room chatting and with all the cold air that had come in the house through the night with people coming and going the balloons were losing there buoyancy and were drifting to the ground. About every 5 seconds once of us had to swat away a balloon. We just carried on with our chat. I remember a lot of parties. Joc sure could party!
The third was some years later when the four of us went golfing one evening. The sun was getting low and we were on a high tee box. Joc, her Richard and me standing at the back so we could my Richard's ball. Well, Rick took his swing, stepped back to follow his ball but was too close to the edge of the tee box. He lost his balance and fell, rolling down the side of the tee box and disappeared into the bushes. Well, the three of us roared with laughter, so hard that Joc wound up on the ground on all fours, I just managed to stay standing by leaning on my golf club. When Rick literally crawled out of the bushes it sent us off on another round of laughter. We didn't stop giggling for about 3 holes. Joc sure appreciated a good laugh. We had no clue where the golf ball went.
Both Rick and I will miss her but will always remember her and the fun we had over the years. Thinking of you Richard and sending our thoughts to you and all of your family.
Sending my condolences during this time. I will always remember Joc as being such a happy person and full of life. She sure knew how to have a great time. I always had a friend in her and could talk to her about everything. She was an amazing aunt! I’ll miss her more than words. Sending love and prayers to the family!xo
Susan and I wish to offer our sincere condolences to you, Richard and family. So enjoyed having you and Jocelyn visiting with us a few times on your way to BC or when you were visiting friends close to Edmonton. Always had a few laughs, and loved her “extra” energy!!! It will leave a huge gap in everyone’s heart, but glad to have such great memories.
Thinking of you all, and huge hugs to Uncle Bill.
With love to you all,
Michael and Susan Lemieux
Sending our thoughts and prayers. Jocelyn was so kind to us when she and her Dad attended transit functions with us. May she Rest In Peace- Katie Kipta and family.
Richard, Kimberley, Robin, Cory and family,
It has been many years since we met Jocelyn during our honeymoon in Canada in 1986! To be honest we don't remember too much about our time with Jocelyn and Richard as the Calgary Flames were playing a series of games against the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup - and won! But despite the excitement and beers we do remember Jocelyn's openness and friendliness to Richard's cousin from the UK and his new wife, and her steely 'tell it as it is' attitude.
This reminded me so much of my Canadian mother (Richard's mother's sister) - also called Jocelyn - that I immediately felt she was related to us in some way
Lots of love and warmest wishes from Australia. Richard we have the spare room ready...

Richard, Kimberley, Robin, Cory and family members,
George and I are so sorry to hear about Jocelyn. She had such spunk, positive energy and a wonderful twinkle of mischief in her eye. My favorite memory is Jocelyn telling me if I ever need to think like a criminal, to give her a call :-) We send our heartfelt sympathy to you all.

Richard and family. Our condolences from our family. Jocelyn was a wonderful lady. Many great memories from over all the years at Adams Lake. From our daughter hanging with Kimberly and Robin, many fun times and great laughs were had. She fought a long hard battle to the end. Hugs and thoughts and prayers to the family
Richard and family, we are so sorry to hear of Jocelyn’s passing. She was the light for everyone. No matter where she went or what she did made all of us smile. She will be dearly missed. We have such fond memories of our baseball days with both of you. My heart hurts for all of you. Love Frank and Rose
Richard and family. Sorry for the loss of Joc. Many an Oxford Stomp party did Joc and I sit and chat most of night - well at least until the headliner performed. Our last outing together we shared a table cloth to stay warm when the temperature dropped so quickly and laughed. A more loving caring person I have never met. Always had a smile on her face. She battled cancer with not only strength but charisma- a true hero.
Dear Richard. Our deepest condolences for your loss. We will always remember Jocelyn for her zest for life and her sense of laughter! We have many fond memories of her when we met at Bruce and Pam’s BBQ’s. His bless you and your family.
