My memories all stem from the Cranbrook Golf Club where I worked (and played) and where Evelyn was a member for many years. We had many a conversation and always ended with a smile. Frank, you have our deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry for your loss! Evelyn and I played bridge both in Cranbrook and Palm Desert. Most often as opponents but several times as partners. We had arranged to play with the California club just days before her untimely passing. We were both excited at the prospect of doing so. Another thing we shared was Winnipeg. I was from the South End but she never held it against me! We also had Lake Winnipeg in common, although she spent her summers at Winnipeg Beach while I was from Victoria Beach across the lake.
Evelyn was truly interested in everyone’s story and made sure we knew she cared. Her family was front and center. You must know you were blessed.
