Obituary of Arnelio Rodolfo SISON

August 10, 1956 – Lingayen Pangasinan, Philippines
February 25, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Arnelio Sison, beloved husband of Redelia Sison (Alupay) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at the age of 64 years. 

Arnelio was born in Lingayen Pangasinan, Philippines on August 10, 1956.  He graduated from the University of Pangasinan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From 1984 to 1993 he was the Head Nurse at King Fahad General Hospital, Jeddah, K.S.A. , and from 1994 to 2008 he worked as a Health Care Aide, then from 1994-2020  he worked as  Alternator Repairmen at Lo-Cost Auto Electric.

Arnelio accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of being a head nurse in Saudi. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed spending time and having fun with his children and grandchildren. He had a passion for cooking and experimenting with food, gardening, and watching TV, he loved watching old movies and adored Clint Eastwood, Jackie Chan, and Bruce Lee, he also enjoyed singing, basketball, playing ping pong and tennis and fixing cars. 

His most memorable vacation was when he went home in 2017 with us to the Philippines!

He will be most remembered for his silent manner of showing his love through his actions.

Besides his loving wife, Arnelio is survived by his three daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Anne and Melvin Camacho of Calgary, Nerissa and Jong Hernani of Fort McMurray, and Reahna Mae Sison of Calgary; and five grandchildren, Gianni Arnel Cabatit, Cesar Cayden Camacho, Shiloh Hernani, Brielle Hernani, and Jayden Chad Camacho. Arnelio is also survived by his sister Teresita (Sylvia) R. Sison of Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Arnelio was predeceased by his parents, Genoveva Garcia Rodolfo and Victoriano Aquino Sison; five brothers, Teofilo (Ped) R. Sison, Francisco (Ansing) R. Sison, Jose (Pepe) R. Sison, Salvador (Ador) R. Sison, and Crisostomo (Tommy) R. Sison; sister Maria Erlinda (Mariatot) S. Cruz, and his crazy dog Atapis.

A Private Funeral Service will be held, on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
