Condolences
I was honoured to be named after my Aunt Eleanor. From a young child, I adored her. I loved visiting her and her family as I was growing up. She was always so kind, welcoming and lots of fun!! She had a special talent for decorating, baking and gardening. She truly had the biggest Heart! She was a caring mother to Greg, Darryl, Tommy and Joanne. I personally will miss her very much as she was a very special friend to me. I trust she is resting peacefully now and sharing her sparkle with all.
My deepest condolences to the whole family.
Tom, I have been talking with Mark and we are so sorry to hear of this terrible loss. May your memories replace the grief you have.

Sending so much love and hugs out to Greg, Daryl, Tom, and Joanne and all your families. I spent most of my childhood summers with Joanne, either at their place or ours. Didn’t visit too much over the later years but when we did, aunty was always ready to listen to how my kids were and what they were up to, And then of course shared what was going on with her grandchildren. Aunty, you were genuine ,one of a kind and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. You loved and you were truly loved by your family. Until we meet again ❤️ Love Leanne and family.
Greg, Daryl, Tommy, Joanne and families. Our sincere condolences to you all, your mother was truly a special lady and we also will miss her. Our trips to Calgary will not be the same without her there. We will miss our visits where we would sit and have tea and yes, a piece or two of matrimonial squares which she always seemed to have on hand. And of course more tea. Our whole family has that memory of her. Also worth mentioning is her beautiful summer time flowers that she indeed took great pride, and the questionable tactics she used keep the squirrels at bay. Lol. Auntie was a great listener and would sincerely ask about everyone in the family and listen as though she truly cared about everyone, and of course we would listen as she spoke of her own children and grandchildren of whom it was obvious she truly loved and cared about each one of them. I know that my daughter Alicia had great comfort in knowing that Auntie was not far away in event that she needed her and enjoyed visits with her from time to time. On occasion she would need a ride to or from the airport she would call on her Great Auntie. It was entertaining to listen to her chuckle at her self as she would point out her own little faults or mistakes or forgetful moments. If I remember right, all her sisters had or have the same trait. In short we will miss her very much as we do all her siblings who have passed. Love you guys and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your momma was a true treasure! Randy, Eileen and family

She was our next door neighbour for many years and we kids always knew she was visiting because the teapot would be on and smell of Benson and Hedges cigarettes wafted in the air (it was the 70's after all). She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed.
Our deepest condolences to the family.

Aunt Eleanor was a wonderful, sincere lady, always willing to help and to sit down to share a cup of tea! I’ll miss her❤️❤️
May memories of happier times fill your hearts as you learn to live without your sweet mom/grandma. Please accept our condolences and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. - Teresa, Kathy & Nettie
Saddened to hear of your loss. Eleanor was a very vibrant woman. We remember her smile and her energy and how she so loved her family. Having grandchildren kept the fire burning in her. It was hard to believe her age and how she mustered up so much energy. She truly loved her garden. Her love and her memory will be always with you. Speak of her often and she will not be far. Hoping the family will find comfort in knowing there are many here to help you through this difficult time . And Eleanor, when you are up there maybe you will run into our Mom's watering the flowers in their gardens, introduce yourself and say HI. Rest in peace

As my heart breaks for you all over the loss of this beautiful lady, I remember the true grace and light that shone from Eleanor whenever I saw her. I remember her quick wit and laughter when she visited with everyone. I feel a much better person for having known her and my heart and prayers are with you all.
