Obituary of Stanley "Norman" KVELLESTAD

On Monday, March 1, 2021, we said goodbye to our dad, Norman Kvellestad. We all have such good memories of him it would take a book to record even a fraction of them! He left us an amazing legacy. He worked hard all his life building homes in Calgary, starting when he was sixteen years old. Many of them are still standing!

Norman had a love for family and instilled in us the value of being together. He was always game to go out for ice cream, pizza at Pizza Hut, a movie or just out for a drive! He loved to travel almost anywhere in the world. We all had trips with him that we remember with great delight because there was always an adventure with him.

He will be missed by his children, Sue, Jim, and John (Pam); nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his brother John (Marilyn) and their children. 

A Memorial Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6), on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
