Obituary of Ernestine (Ernie) Joan THOMSON

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Matriarch, Ernestine Joan Thomson of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Ernie was born October 21, 1930. She was the youngest of five sisters.

In earlier years, Mom cherished family holidays at Shuswap, Hawaii, and Barbados with Glen, as well as vacations to Florida and Palm Springs with the Family.

When the cooking torch was passed, Mom was the soul Gravy maker. Mom loved her garden.

She leaves to mourn, her son David (Carol) and daughter Holly; grandchildren, Shawna (Paul) of Regina, Tyler, Ashley (James), Whitney (Geoff) of Calgary Nicole of Edmonton, and Jillian of Calgary; her  great-grandchildren,  Austin and Natalia of Regina, Maddox, Kennedi, and Wyatt of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews of which Debbie and Dorothy were very special.

Ernie was predeceased by her loving husband, Glen in 1995 and son Randall in 2012.
