Obituary of William Clinton BELL

July 13, 1954 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
March 4, 2021– Calgary, Alberta

William Bell, beloved husband of Gill Bell (nee Lalonde) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Clint was born in Saskatoon, SK. He graduated from Campbell Collegiate High School in Regina, SK.  Clint then pursued and earned his Journeyman Carpenter trade certificate. He worked as an Independent Adjuster. Clint was a member of the Calgary Boxing Club and the Calgary Rams Rugby Club.  Clint enjoyed woodworking, rugby, history, sci-fi, camping and quading. He was particularly proud of being a papa, his inventions and his workshop. He was an amazing listener and story teller. He loved to learn and adored his family. His most memorable vacation was an Alaskan Cruise in 2008 with his wife Gill. Clint will be most remembered for woodworking and "cocktails in the garage".

Besides his loving wife Gill, Clint is survived by his sons, Jeremy (Jaclyn) Szott and Joshua Bell; daughters, Sarah (Greg) Maguire and Amy Bell (Mike Chovancak); and four grandchildren, Molly, Jaxton, Murphy and Benjamin. He is also survived by his two sisters, Jacquie (Mark) Muns and Debbie Wolfson. He was predeceased by his mother Marjory Bell, father Clare Bell, stepmother Leila Bell, brother Jeff Bell and sister Anne Wolfson. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Brent Kinnie, Dr. Anthony Deschant and the AHS Palliative Homecare team, Lisette, Amy, Megan, Rachel, Ellen, Kerri, Cara and Jaeun. A special thank you to nurse Amy from ParaMed, who made Clint's passing so very peaceful.   
   
A Private Funeral Service will be held, on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can be shared and viewed here.
