Obituary of Robert (Bob) Henry SCHWARZ

July 28, 1929 – Edmonton, Alberta          
March 7, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta    

Robert (Bob) Schwarz, beloved husband of Olive Schwarz, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 91 years.

Bob was born in Edmonton, Alberta. Bob worked in the oil patch, all his working life. He was very much a people person and always had a big smile and a handshake for everyone. Bob loved his family, friends, a cold beverage, and anything chocolate. He was a devoted volunteer with the Calgary Stampede Downtown Attractions Committee for many years. Bob and his beloved wife Olive spent many years in both Hawaii and Palm Springs, creating lasting memories. They were avid golfers and members at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club, where they were fortunate enough to develop lifelong friendships.

He is survived by his wife Olive, children, Karen Mott, Beverly Schwarz (John Scheepstra), and Rod. He is also survived by granddaughters, Amy Mott and Lauren Mott; and great-grandson Rogan Mott-Moe.
