Condolences
My sincere condolences, Rajiv and family, on this great loss. Dr. Sharma was one of my teachers at Acadia University in the late 1970s, and he was an influential one for me. I first learned about the Romantics from him, and have carried the love of their poetry with me all of these years since. What a gift! I am saddened to learn of his death, but remain grateful for the gift of his teachings.
My deepest sympathies to prof Sharma' family. He was a Scholar and a great man
Dearest Shanti and family,
I cannot believe that I knew this wonderful man for over 20 years. Even though it was in a professional manner, I will miss my visits and his calmness. He always left me with a sense of peace, I greatly admired that, and his love of learning amazed me. Praying for Gods blessings upon you all as you go through this time of sadness. Jolene Dressler
Dear Rajiv,
I again convey my heartfelt condolences for Govind Narain Ji. He was not only a personal loss but a huge loss to the society and to India as a whole. He propagated Hinduism in Canada which will be remembered for all times to come. He was a legend of knowledge and learning. I have gone through his book on Munshi Prem Chand and I salute him for this. I enjoyed his company in Calgary for almost a month and I can not forget his Bhajans he used to recite with his harmonium every day morning. I pray God to give courage to all especially Ms Shanti Sharma to bear this loss. I also pray God to give eternal peace to his soul. I also pray Hod to give you courage to sustain this loss. You were closely attached to him. KSSharma

Mausaji will be truly missed. But as we are saddened by his passing away, we also celebrate his life, which was an example for all those who strive for perfection
He was a dearest elder in the family, a true scholar with great passion for art and learning, and celebrated his love of life in so many ways undeterred by age. I was always inspired by him and fondly remember the conversations we had many years ago on his visits to India. I regret not being able to visit and see him in Calgary in his later years.
He will be in my prayers always!
My heartfelt condolences for the family and prayers for peaceful journey of the soul!
Warm regards
