Obituary of Jennifer Heather SCOTT

June 16, 1981 – St. Johns, Newfoundland
March 5, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, the late, Jennifer Scott of Calgary, AB, on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the age of 39 years.

Jennifer was born in St. John’s, NL on June 16, 1981, and moved to Alberta with her family in 1998.

Jennifer’s family and friends often referred to her as Bean, a nickname given to her during her childhood years. Jennifer spent time with her family in Little Burnt Bay, NL during her younger years and then later grew up in Goose Bay, NL.

Jennifer was known for her vibrant personality, her stubbornness, her warm heart, and her awful snoring. She was also very creative. She loved to listen to and write her own music and draw and paint pictures. Jennifer’s love for style didn’t go unnoticed as she experimented with different hairstyles and makeup looks. She was the best hairdresser, makeup artist, and nail tech that you could want.

Jennifer will be greatly missed by her family and large circle of friends. She left behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and we take comfort in knowing that she is now surrounded by love and light.

Jennifer is survived by her two sons, Nicholas Scott and Nathan Scott. She is also survived by her sister Cavelle (Jeff) Clark of Goose Bay, NL, her brothers, Paul (Tara) Best of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and Matthew (Christie) Best of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; her stepfather Paul Best of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and her close friend Randy Hopewell of Calgary, AB as well as her nieces, Robyn, Sophie, Charlotte, and Lauren; her nephews, Jeffrey and Baron; and a large circle of family and friends. Jennifer was predeceased by her mother Maxine Scott, her grandmother Elvina Scott, and her grandfather Hardy Scott.

A Private Viewing will take place at Chapel of the Bells in Calgary with family and close friends with cremation to follow. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed on Jennifer’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.

In living memory of Jennifer Scott, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH, CALGARY, AB T2E 2V6, Telephone: 403-243-8200.
