Condolences
My daughter and I had the pleasure of getting to know Sandra at Sait. She always had a way of bringing a smile to your face. She took a particular liking to my daughter during her studies at Sait. Elaina would stop by and quickly visit with Sandra in between classes. I had the pleasure of working with her in the school of M&A. I will miss her smile and the conversations we had over the years. We are both sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Sandra for close to 15 years, we had many conversations about her family, football and curling. Just talking to her would brighten your day. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
My deepest condolences to the family in this difficult time. Sandra was one of the first people I met when starting at SAIT in 2014. She welcomed me to the department on Day 1 with open arms and we were instantly friends and remained that way ever since. I believe warmth and light were her special gifts and she had such a sense of pride and strength despite her always cheery disposition. She is a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed and greatly remembered.
I worked with Sandra at SAIT and she was always the most cheerful lovely person in the office. Her positive attitude was infectious, and she always had time to chat with everyone.
Her work with students and teachers was extraordinary, caring and compassionate. Come to think of it, those 3 words describe Sandra’s outlook to life.
And so a new chapter has opened for Sandra and for those of her family who remain to celebrate her life and your lives together. Cherish the many good times you had together …. for although a memory only takes a moment to occur, it lasts a lifetime.

SAIT's ALIVE (The Association of Retired and Former employees of SAIT and their spouses) extend their deepest sympathy.
I worked with Sandra for many years, and considered her a friend. She was always ready with a smile or a laugh, and if a problem arose she would unselfishly jump into action to help however she could. I spoke with her only a few weeks ago, and she was so positive - she was a remarkably strong woman. I will miss her, and would like to extend my deepest sympathies to family and friends of Sandra.
We've known Sandra for quite a while, and it always amazed us how happy, energetic and optimistic she was. Always smiling and always having a nice word for everybody. We hope that she is in a better place now…

Sandra always greeted everyone with a smile. That was Sandra, genuinely happy to meet and chat with a sincere care for whoever that was. Life for Sandra was to be enjoyed irrespective of her situation or circumstances. That approach was infectious and I always had a greater reverence for life when chatting with her.
My sincere condolences to those she has left here. While we miss her physical presence, we will never lose how she made us feel.

I have only known Sandra for a few years - she was a member of a quilting group I joined - but we were immediately friends! She was always positive about everything - complimentary of everyone's craft efforts and happy to share what she was working on.
We used to talk about our name being an 'old' name - and how we 'old' Sandras needed to stick together.
Sandra was almost exactly a year older than me - her birthday being on the 26th of August while mine is the 25th.
She was a lovely lady and will be truly missed from our group.
Rest in Peace, dear lady.
We were privileged to have known Sandra during the past few years of her life journey. We experienced Sandra as a warm, friendly and engaging woman and we wish we had more years to spend time with her as part of Dawn's family. We share a beautiful granddaughter Penelope and were so grateful Sandra had time to get to know and enjoy her granddaughter who loved her very much. We will miss all of the opportunities we could have had with you Sandra. May you rest in peace with your angels.
Our condolences to Dawn, Rhonda and Rudi.
In loving memory of you Sandra

It was my honour and pleasure to have worked with Sandra at SAIT. Sandra was always the constant, grounding individual that was much more than the smiling face you saw when you entered the school. She could calm distraught students, mentor new staff and keep instructors in line when ever necessary. I am proud to call Sandra my friend and know that she will be sadly missed. My condolences to her family and I know she would tell us all to lift up our chins and carry on, as she is where she is meant to be.

When you walked into SAIT and M&A and saw Sandra you felt like you were HOME! She always has a smile, a kind word and helped with anything you needed. She loved working with the instructors and students and was full of knowledge after years working at the school! She mentored me when I started years ago and we became fast friends! Her dream was to retire and open a quilt shop - she finally was rewarded with her retirement but was cut far too short with her passing!! We had so many visits planned and my heart is broken she is gone.
Rest In Peace Sandra - you will and already are missed.
