Obituary of Chizuko (Helen) YAMAZAKI

July 29, 1935 – Vancouver, British Columbia
March 11, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Chizuko (Helen) Yamazaki passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in her 86th year.  

She was a longtime member and volunteer with the Calgary Kotobuki Society, the Kerby Centre, and the Calgary Japanese Community Association and enjoyed many of their events.

She was sister to Kay Douglas and Roy Yamazaki (Lucy).  She was aunt to Sean Douglas, Patricia Marcoe (Monty), Ken Yamazaki (Kirstie), and Jason Yamazaki (Erin); and great-aunt to a number of nieces and nephews.

In Living memory of Chizuko Yamazaki, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis and Holloway Funeral Homes.
