Lora and family. I am sad to hear that you have lost both your Mother, Joann, and your Father, Rogers. I send my sincere condolences to you. Take care.

I learned from others of Rogers's many, many accomplishments in sports, business, community, family: in life. But while we were neighbors, fellow Oilmen's past chairs, country club members and attended lots of industry and community functions with Rogers and Joann we never once heard anything of those accomplishments from either of them. Conversations were always about family, friends, the importance of 'giving back' and his way of asking about you and making you feel special. Simply on of those people, one of those couples we will always admire and never forget.
We were so fortunate to have known you Rogers and our deepest sympathies to your family.

A bigger than life man. His accomplishments throughout his lifetime showed what kind of person he was. I was privileged to have been a part if his life. Rest in peace and be with the rest of the family.
Love u always,

Lora, Larry and families. I have so many happy memories of Rogers and family, going back to the early 1960s when Rogers first came to Calgary as an assistant coach with the Stampeders. Rogers and my dad played golf together at the Country Club, and later were together in the first foursome to tee off every year at the D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club. They hunted together, and of course were involved for many years together with the Stampeders. Later on, every year I saw Rogers and Joanne at the Stampeder football games as they had the first 4 seats in the row where Dad's and then my seats were, and we chatted as I walked past them and their family on the way to our seats. He was a great man, and you can be so proud of him and all that he accomplished.
