March 16, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Grace Gray, beloved wife of the late Keith Gray, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 95 years.

Grace was born in Kitchener, Ontario, on November 28, 1925 to Simon and Alberta Weber. She had a wonderful childhood and met the love of her life, Keith Gray when she was 18. Before they had children, Grace was a celebrated and integral part of the Bowser Company as secretary to the president. Eventually she would take over in her most cherished roles as wife and mother to her son Fraser and daughter Wendy.

Grace inspired the people around her to appreciate the good things in life. She was often called “Amazing Grace” for her ability to host gourmet meals for her family weekly and create works of art in needlepoint. Grace was an active volunteer at the foodbank for many years and will always be remembered as a generous and kind hearted human.

Grace is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Fraser Gray (Audrey), daughter and son-in-law Wendy Hollinshead (Rick) and grandchildren, Jenny (Russ), Cassandra (Brennan), Nathan (Catherine), and Jared Smelski. Grace is also survived by ten great-grandchildren. Grace is preceded in death by her husband Keith and sister Esther.

A virtual Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. PDT due to Covid restrictions. Family and friends are invited to join Mrs. Gray’s service streamed live.
