Rolf Janz, beloved husband of Josephine Dinah Janz (nee Slade) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 80 years.

Rolf was born in Hamburg, Germany and immigrated to Canada at the age of twenty-three. Rolf enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life including, equestrian, scuba diving, model trains, cars, and soccer.  

Rolf is survived by his wife Josy, daughters and sons-in law, Kari and Mark and Michelle and Dave; and his four grandchildren, Quinn, Luke, Nathan, and Sophie. Rolf is also survived by brothers, Klaus and Detlef who reside in Germany and his sister Waltraud who resides in New Zealand as well as numerous nieces and nephews and family members living in Germany, New Zealand and South Africa. Rolf was predeceased by his brothers, Rheinhold, Manfred, and Peter.
