Obituary of Arnold Glenn FRIESEN

May 9, 1935 – Coaldale, Alberta
March 18, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Arnold Friesen, loved husband of Agatha Friesen (nee Quiring), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the age of 85 years. 

Arnold was born and raised in Coaldale, AB and spent his adult life in Calgary. Besides Agatha, Arnold is survived by his children Jennifer (and Wes) Jantz, Dale (and Tracey) Friesen, Leslie (and David) Friesen, 9 grandkids, and 10 great-grandkids. Arnold was predeceased by his daughter, Kelly Donaldson. 

Arnold lived his life and loved his family and friends the best he could. He was a good man. He didn’t always say or do the right things. Sometimes he failed and sometimes people read him wrong. But he just gave all he could. He was a prankster who made people laugh. He generously gave to the people who needed the most. As a businessman and entrepreneur, he found much success. He made a positive impact on countless lives. He loved God and read his Bible lots. He would want to thank all who helped him along the way and would want to tell everyone to take a look at what Jesus said and did. That’s all.
