Condolences
Ty, Cassie, Hayden & Hennessy,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your father, and Grandfather, Mike. We hope you have lots of good memories that you can hold close and keep him alive in your hearts.
All the best,
Rod & Susan Rasmussen
We would like to give our deepest sympathies to Mike’s family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mike was a wonderful and giving person with a great sense of humour. He had such compassion for people, which he showed us everyday at Pure Country Meats. Everyday he came in and put smiles on our faces with his stories and jokes. He always talked about his kids with such love and respect. I worked with Mike for the past 12 years and the compassion, friendship and knowledge he taught us will stay with us forever!
Rest In Peace Dear Friend, we will miss you! ❤️
Shawn, Judy, family, and Pure Country Meats family
My condolences to Mike's Family. I remember his Happy face when he was 2 and 3 years old.
I was the baby sitter for Mike and Peggy. My thoughts are with all of you at this very sad time.
Sincerely, Karen Murdoch (nee Lubbers)
Our sincerest condolences to Mike’s family. We will always cherish the memories we had with Mike at Chestermere and Pure Country meats. He will be very missed. -Phil and Cayla Stinson
Going to miss your laughter and silly grinnin Mike McKinnon . RIP buddy :(
My condolences to the family. I worked for Mike for several years and a couple more after leaving the plant. He was a caring, considerate boss and cared a lot about his customers. A couple times a year we would catch up, especially at Christmas time.
He was so proud of his boys and adored his grandchildren. I will miss his laugh and his sense of humor. You will be missed Mike.
RIP my friend!
Auntie Ginny, Peggy, Tylor and Jesse, I am so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. My heart goes out to you and your families.
I always looked up to Mike as my older cousin and I have many wonderful memories of times we spent when I lived with grandma and grandpa. Horsing around in the barn, cruising the gravel roads and fixing cars (well, watching Mike fix my car, lol) and herding cattle and pigs into the butcher shop.
I always appreciated the respect and love Mike showed for grandma and grandpa. Mike was a genuinely kind hearted, fun loving guy and I always enjoyed his company.
Although we are separated by thousands of miles, please know that our hearts are with all of you at this time.
Love Trevor, Launa and Brooklyn
So sorry to hear of Mike’s passing! Condolences to all. May your fond memories and the love of friends and family be of comfort during this time.
Loads of love, Terrie and Scott Copley
Tyler and Jessie, we are very sad to learn of your Dad's passing. He was a great neighbour and always so nice to deal with both at home and at the business. And of course, he did a great job of raising two young men.

Mike was a great guy. One of the hardest working people we know. We have very fond memories of Mike in which we shared many laughs, going as far back as the Chestermere Meat days.
We are very sorry for your loss. Mike will definitely be missed.
