My condolences to you and your family Al. This is indeed a very sad time for you all. Losing a wife, mother, and grandmother creates an emptiness that seems hard to fill. Over time the emptiness will fill with the happiness from the memories created while Joyce was with you all. I was fortunate to get to know Joyce well enough that she entrusted to me her Chocolate Cake recipe which as you all know was the best Chocolate Cake or Cupcake you have ever had the pleasure of devouring. We will think fondly of Joyce always but especially when we try to duplicate her Chocolate Cake recipe.
Sincerely
Dave Barrett
Thank you for sharing this beautiful celebration of Joyce's life. My thoughts are with all of you.
Our heart felt condolences to Allan and family. Thanks to Marilyn I have been able to watch her service of remembrance and celebrate a life well lived. Joyce truly lived life to its fullest and with genuine love for all who were privileged to be part of her life. What an amazing woman! What a wonderful tribute to her that you all participated in her service. She would have been so proud. As her love continues to enfold and live in you, may her memory warm your hearts and may you find peace. Linda and Leonard Stumpf
My condolences to Al and the family,
I met Joyce at Red Deer Lake United Church and attended a women's Friday coffee group that she was a member of.
From the first time I met her, Joyce was warm, welcoming and kind. She always arrived with a great sense of humor and had great stories to share about being a proud wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
Such a beautiful, special woman!

Our prayers are with you Al and your family. We were so privileged to have known Joyce through Faith and Coffee and coffee after church service. Her leadership and thoughtful reflections during Faith and Coffee always showed how deep her faith was. We are going to miss her.
My sincerest condolences to Joyce's family. God bless her and keep her safe. We have another angel to look over us. Thank you for sharing the memorial service. It was beautiful and heartfelt. What a wonderful family. With deepest sympathy, Anna
Heartfelt condolences to Al and family. Joyce will be missed by all who knew her.
Sending love and our heartfelt condolences to your entire family at this very difficult time. Joyce was a wonderful cousin to Val, Greg and I and we always enjoyed our visits over the years. It was always apparent how much she loved her family and I know she will be sadly missed by all.

We send our condolences, love and prayers to Al and his family. We are so thankful for the kind and caring presence of Joyce and you, Al, and through times of fellowship together at Red Deer Lake United Church. May God meet you in the places of your deepest need through these days of such profound loss.

My sincere condolences to Al and the family. I so enjoyed working with Joyce at Samuel Crowther. She had such a positive and caring presence. Meeting a few years later as our two grandchildren planned their marriage and their lives together was so memorable. Joyce left so many positive footprints.
Our hearts go out to you and your family Al. We can't believe that vibrant lady is no longer with us. Gump always had a great time teasing her, and I know she totally enjoyed getting him back. We were all so lucky to have such good times, and great memories. We are greatly saddened by your loss.
Our condolences to you Al and the family. As a foursome we had many good trips together flying and driving with some funny stories to tell along the way.

My sincere condolences. Joyce has been a friend for the past few years developed over ladies coffee at Granary Road. I will remember her spunk, her smile, and truly miss the chats I enjoyed with her. I am so sorry for your loss.
Our sincere condolences to you All and your family. Jim&Barrie Munro
We are saddened by the passing of our very dear friend, Joyce. We will always remember many happy times spent with Joyce and Al after the Pollock family moved to Strathmore in 1986. Her ability to make others feel good in her presence was a real gift and that is a gift we will always fondly remember. Her caring, wisdom, loyalty, determination, hospitality and fun-loving personality were treasured blessings which will be etched in the minds of many as her legacy lives on. May she now rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to Al and each of Joyce’s beloved family members as you mourn such a beautiful soul. You were all so loved by Joyce!

We have many happy memories of Joyce as well as Al at their home, our home and on a number of trips together. A warm and compassionate person who survived many years of an illness she did not deserve. She was fortunate to have a spouse who could help her through the past number of years. Now she can rest in peace.
