Obituary of Arash ZARE SANI

February 6, 1994 – Sarab, Iran
February 19, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Arash Zare Sani passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the age of 27 years.

Arash was a graduate student of System Processing Engineering at the University of Regina. He graduated from The Sahand University of Technology in Tabriz, Iran, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering, in 2018.

Arash loved his study field and was particularly proud of how good he was in his practical laboratory courses. He had a passion for travelling, mountain biking, cooking, animals and music. He enjoyed being a tour leader, and he travelled to every corner of Iran, and he was learning to play Do-Tar, a traditional Persian music instrument.

Arash loved his family, and his family much loved him. Arash will always be so loved, and not a day will pass that his family will not cherish every moment they got to share together.

In Arash's honour, his family has sent a contribution to a charity organization helping young adults in need.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m MST (11th Farvardin of 1400, 8:30 p.m. IDT for those viewing from Iran). Family and friends are invited to the service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
