Allan and family, we are so sad to hear of the loss of Darlene. I knew her when our children were in elementary school together and always looked forward to our frequent conversations at the school. Darlene was one of the most beautiful, sincere, sweet and caring persons I have ever known. She always had a lovely smile for everyone. Condolences to you and your girls. May your many lovely memories of a beautiful soul bring you solace and strength. Bless you all and know that many people care and will miss Darlene.

So sorry to hear this news, my condolences to all the family. I worked with Darlene at the CBE for 10 years, and we remained friends after that. It was such fun working with her, as I never knew what to expect next. One day when we had been throwing comments at each other, I think we both had the same sense of humour, as I left the staff room Darlene made a comment to me, I walked out laughing, but a substitute that day told Darlene off for being so rude to me. We had a good laugh about that. So many years, so many memories. Rest easy my good friend, until we meet again.
