Condolences
I would like to extend my condolences to the family of Peter Clark; friend and roommate in Garneau Towers at U of A.
My sincere condolences to all the Clark family. Peter, Joe and Maureen were so very kind to me, extending warmth and comfort when I needed it. Peter was always considerate and helpful. Trudy Cowan
Sincere condolences to Peter's family, particularly his dear wife Sunny, and brother Joe. As school students, Peter and I worked at the High River Times newspaper owned by his father. We were so pleased and proud when Peter, our hometown friend and neighbour, was appointed as a Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta.
Sincere good wishes,
Bill and Dorothy Holmes
Pete and I were roommates during the Winter of 1964 when we both worked at the Club Vagabond ski lodge in Leysin, Switzerland. Pete worked as a cook. I remember he was very proud of his older brother, Joe and would often talk about him. Pete was a terrific cook! Meals at Club Vagabond were always great.
Rest in peace, Pete Clark.

Justice Clark did my bar call in 1998. He made a point to get to know me first, and always had a kind word to say when we saw each other later, which was fairly often I felt he welcomed many to the profession in the same way. He kept track of the lawyers he called for years after. He was always polite and gracious, with a little steel in his backbone when that was required. We will miss him in the legal profession, and certainly his family will miss him ever so much more. We are thinking of his family and friends today and in the weeks to come.
Warm wishes,
Kim Berlin
Sunny and family,
I send my condolences on Justice Clark's passing. It was always good to appear in front of him. He was willing to listen and make decisions, in an atmosphere of civility and professionalism, and the occasional bit of humour, in the courtroom. My sympathies to you and his family.

I remember a humorous incident with Peter when he was about 15 years old.
A few of us "young guys" would drive down to High River from Calgary, early on some Friday evenings to go to Teen Town.
Teen Town was a dance for teenagers, and held at the Memorial Centre. It was there that we met Peter and socialized.
One Friday evening we arrived a little early in High River so drove around a bit to kill time. We ran into Peter outside of his house. Peter announced very proudly to us, that he had just "bounced on his Pogo Stick" to downtown High River and back to his house. This was the furthest distance that he had ever "bounced."
I reminded Peter of this achievement numerous times in his adulthood.
Sunny, Sue and I want to express our sympathy to you on the passing of Peter. We think back fondly of our memories of you and your family and want to assure you, Sheila and Scott and families of our love and prayers. If I can be of any help to you, please let me know. Gord and Sue Sorensen

We were saddened to read in this mornings paper that Peter had passed away. We made a donation to the Calgary Food Bank in Peter's memory. Our sincere condolences are with you at this time of great sadness.

I am a huge Peter Clark fan. His interest in the lives of novice law students endeared him to these young recruits at the launching pad of their careers. Conversations with Peter came easy. I especially admired his charming contrarian skill to rail against submission to the norm. When to conform was easy, he’d dissent. And when dissent was easy, he’d conform. We miss him. Love to Sunny and family.

Dear Clark and Delaney family,
Please accept my condolences for your great loss. As a staff member at the Court, I always had a great deal of affection for Justice Clark, not the least because he was unfailingly kind to me. He was such an authentic and warm person, with an acute understanding of people's strengths and weaknesses. I loved his curmudgeonly side..it was part and parcel of his funny side, both their self-deprecating and biting aspects. He loved to laugh, and was deeply honest. He is one of the people I will never forget, and the loss for you must be great.
