Condolences
We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Joanne and family in the loss of a very special man. Bill and Joanne were our neighbors at Sierras for the short 3 years we have been here and we regularly hear more information about how Joanne and especially Bill, contributed in so many ways to life at Sierras which he offered so willingly. We are thankful.
Tess and I would like to extend our sympathy to Joanne and family on the passing of Bill. May our loving Heavenly Father comfort each of you during this time of grieving.
Love/Tess & Harold Ashley
Dear Joanne and family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for Bill's passing. I know you’ll miss him dearly, and I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember the wonderful years that you lived down the street from us on Dalford Road. To this day, I always tell my kids, Hannah and Caleb, the story of how my brother and I made a very unusual and unexpected appearance at the Hendrix's house many years ago when we were toddlers. Our flight to freedom was all captured on film after we had apparently escaped the Kuervers' household and arrived at your place a bit under dressed! May God bless and comfort all of you as you cherish the good memories you had with Bill.
Love Brian, Tara & family
May the good Lord look after this fine gentleman and please give him a project to work on as he was always very active. So nice to have known and worked with a man of very pleasant talents, an understanding of his fellow man and a great advancer of getting through all the deterrents in the endeavours undertaken.
The Garden of Eden will never look so great!
God bless
Our deepest sympathy to Joanne and Family. Bill was truly a kind and gentle person. We had the privilege of knowing him through various volunteer efforts at St. Peter’s Church. Joanne, we’re praying for friends and family to comfort you, faith to uphold you and loving memories to heal your heart.
My condolences to Joanne and family. Hugs to you all.
My condolences to Joanne and family. Uncle Bill will be missed. A real character who always livened up the room. You could count on a big smile and a warm sense of humour. Many great memories. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
Warmest regards,
Barry Scabar

I want to offer my condolences to the Hendrix family at this difficult time. He was my ‘Uncle Bill’ and there was simply no one else like him. He would brighten up any event just by his presence. I believe he had made a personal commitment to make every person in the room feel accepted and included. I believe his and my father’s passing marks the end of an important era in Canadian history. It was an honor to be one of his nephews and to have spent intimate family time with him. It is my sincere belief that we will meet again.
Praying for your family at this time,
Danny Hendrix
So sorry for your loss of Bill. I still have very fond memories of get togethers with the Hendrix family with Bill always being at he centre of them.
Wishing the Hendrix family the best in these hard times.
So sorry for your loss Joanne and family.
Bill deeply touched my heart countless times since we met in the 1970s. He actually changed the course of my life when I was an impressionable 16-to-21-year old. I will be forever grateful to both Bill and to his family who so generously shared him with us.
Joanne, family and Friends-We join with many close friends to extend our sincere condolences to Joanne, family. Bill was not only a loyal and great friend for over near 50 years but a close contributor to many enjoyable get togethers- we all will miss his solid support and great humor. He will be sincerely never be replaced-and we will never forget him-
Prayers and Blessings-Don & Eileen MacGillivray
My condolences and prayers to the family and friends at this time of sorrow.
So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My condolences to Joanne, Tim, Sandra and the rest of the Hendrix family.
I first met Bill in 1996 when I started a Fibreclean franchise in Kelowna. Bill flew out to Kelowna to meet me and my wife and welcome me to the Fibreclean family. He helped us along the way and always lifted our spirits if things weren't going great. A great mentor and such a wonderful person. Bill will be certainly be missed by all.
My condolences to the Hendrix family. Bill was very generous person in many ways. His sense of humor made you feel that life is good no matter what. I am glad that I had the opportunity to get to know him.
Bill was one of the first people to give me a real break in my working life. He encouraged me to work to my strengths and continue to grow as a person. His mentorship helped guide me through all kinds of life's challenges to find my own fulfillment. My thoughts are with his family, who he always put first in whatever he did. The Tuesday morning management breakfasts at the Husky or the Airport Inn are an indelible memory of my early career.

My thoughts are with Joanne and Bill's family. I met Bill shortly after moving into our condo almost 19 years ago. He was such a kind, caring and compassionate man, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. I had complete trust in how he worked with our condo board because he was a man of high moral standards and integrity. A gentleman indeed and a wonderfully gentle man.
Bill was a wonderful mentor and boss, he touched our lives in so many ways: taught us, gave us opportunities, allowed us to grow. Thanks to Bill we were able to come along for his adventure, he will be missed and forever in our hearts.
