Obituary of Laura Michelle LEROUX

Laura Leroux of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 40 years.

Laura was born in Surrey, BC on September 10, 1980. She grew up in Enderby, BC and lived there until she was seventeen years old. She moved to Penticton in 1997 and completed her final year of high school there. She moved to Langley to live with her Aunt, Uncle and two young cousins for four years before moving to Calgary.

Laura graduated from the Bow Valley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She won the governor general award for having the top grade point average in her class.

Laura married Tyler Krausert in 2009. They were married for eight years and had three children, Liliana, Theodore and Tate together. Laura was most proud of being a loving mother and spending time with her children.

Laura loved spending time in nature. One of her favourite places to walk was in Fish Creek Park. She often took her kids there to share her love of nature. Laura enjoyed spending time at the beach whether it was in the Okanagan, Vancouver, Mexico or Hawaii. She always loved to get her family together. She loved organizing family reunions and trips to celebrate birthdays.

Laura is survived by her daughter Liliana and two sons, Teddy and Tate. She is also survived by her mother Linda(Brian),her father Bert; her brothers, Brent(Amber) and Brad(Candace), her sister Leanne(Brett); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
