Obituary of Leone WOLOSYN

August 18, 1937
April 7, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Leone Wolosyn beloved wife of Linder Armitage and loving Mom to Shelly (Darcy), Mark (Beverly) and Vandy (Danny), Grandma (Baca) to Jesse, Haley (Kyle), Kennedie (Nathan), Taryn (Matt), Shelby and Great Grandson Leo, passed away peacefully April 7th. Leone was predeceased by her Mother Ann Murphy, siblings Barbara (Mel), Richard (Donna) and Terry (Sharon) and father of her children Ken.    

Leone enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to travel with her beloved partner Linder whom she shared so many fond memories. She truly loved Linder’s family and they cherished her- Robson, Mitchell, Aiden and special friend Dolleen. 

Leone worked hard for many years at CIBC and her clients of course became her friends. Mom had an amazing work ethic and this created a strong foundation for her and her children. Perhaps it was working at a bank that taught her how to squeeze 25 cents out of a dime.

Leone loved anything social and enjoyed so many fun times with her girlfriends both on and off the golf course. A fierce competitor and never one to give a putt she was a true friend to many.

Mom created a beautiful life, filled it with amazing family and lived it as fully and gracefully as she could for as long as she could. Mom will be missed everyday by all those that she touched. Rest easy Queen Bee. 

A celebration of Mom’s life will occur when we are all able to gather and toast her wonderful life.
