Obituary of Karen Joy OLSON

July 4, 1954 – Camrose, Alberta
March 21, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Karen Joy Olson of Calgary, AB, passed to the next level on March 21, 2021 at the age of 66 years.

Even though having disabilities, she was of a patient and cheerful disposition with sweet humility and gentleness. A people-loving person, she made each person feel important. The heart-warming joy she imparted to each of us will be missed.
 
Karen was predeceased by twin brother Kevin, mother Marion, and father Paul. She is survived by sister Janis Wagler and brother-in-law Barry; brother Ron Olson and sister-in-law Holly; nieces, Breaugh, Genevieve, and Kiera Joy; twenty-three cousins, nine aunts and uncles; as well as social worker and friends, Gerda Ziegler, and Svetlana Stojanovic, and roommate/companion of over fifteen years, Maria Benz.
