Obituary of Russell (Russ) WILLIAMS

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Russ Williams of Calgary, AB, on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 62 years.

Most of Russ’ working life was spent in the paint industry. He became a Paint Technician and excelled at all things paint. His many friends in the industry attest to the great “Rustomer” service he always provided and taught to all new employees.  He loved his customers and the people he worked with.

Russ loved the Calgary Stampeders, the Calgary Flames and blackjack. He also loved coffee rendezvous on his back deck and in more recent times, any and all friends stopping by for a visit. He has gone too soon and will be missed.

Russ is survived by his son Matt; his siblings, Barry (Leah) and Barb, his sister-in-law Inese; his nephews, Travis (Laura), Page (Erin), Brett (Stephanie), Jeremy and Kane. He is also survived by his many cousins and family in Canada and in England; his long-time friend Harold (Mel); and his exceptional friend, Catherine and her mom Laraine.

He was predeceased by his parents, Violet and Myron, his sister Linda and his brother Allen.
