Condolences
Cathy, Laurie, Barb and Holly, our deepest condolences. The MacPhail family extends our sympathy to each of you and your family. We have many fond memories of time spent together with Bob-Bob (the affectionate name used by Andrew and Heather as children) and Marion—cross country skiing and hiking in Saskatchewan and Montana, a bareboat sailing adventure around St Maarten, a family cook-out in Red Rock Canyon and get togethers where we shared conversation over dinner and a glass of wine. Bob was always thoughtful, kind, gentle and happy to share his broad knowledge of geology and his adventures exploring and collecting samples. A great guy| We were so fortunate to know him.
Chris, Elaine, Andrew and Heather
Grandpa was a pillar of the McPherson family and is incredibly well loved. He lived his life well, doing the activities that he enjoyed like hiking, gathering with friends, listening to music, and gardening. He had passions that he liked to share with family- one of my favorites was our mutual Iove of butter chicken. He had a playful side and we all have memories of great adventures.
Since folks in his home were vaccinated, he had a drink with friends at the bar on his last birthday. What a great way to spend the day!
