Condolences
May your husband and mate, Joseph, rest with the joy and peace of our Father Almighty.
Very sad to hear about Dr. Desautels passing. My sincere condolences to the family. My daughter (Sathvika) and I cherish our last experience of visiting him a couple years ago. I received great support from Dr. Desautels in my doctoral research. I will always remember him for his generosity and kindness that he showed towards me and other students that he guided during his long association as an Adjunct Professor with the Electrical Engineering department at the University of Calgary.
Away, so just learned of Leo’s passing. Our condolences to Lona, their children,
spouses and so many grandkids. When I as the junior radiologist joined the practice, Leo and I shared an office in the Foothills Medical Center. I soon got to know his quiet sense of humour and dedication to the practice of Radiology which he held till he retired. He always talked so well of his children and regaled in all their successes. It was a honour to know him as a Dad, Radiologist and Partner.
Lona & Family,
My sincere condolences to you all on the loss of Leo. Tho’ we didn’t see much of you but knew were our neighbors. I recall Leo coming to my door and saying – just what I’m saying to you. Am sorry this is so late but being that I just found out today, thought. had best get on the ball .
Dear Paula and Desautels Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Desautels’ passing. I remember first meeting him when Paula and I were in school together at St. Boniface, then years later, frequently chatting with him when I worked at Foothills Hospital.
Paula, please accept my sincere condolences.

To Mrs. Desautels and The Family of Dr.Desautels my heartfelt sympathy, at the passing of your Husband, Father, and Grandfather. It was my honor to work in Foothills Radiology, in the early days when Dr.Desautels arrived. He was a great teacher in his field and a pleasure to work with, at all times. Those were happier times. May God comfort and bless your Family. Annie MacKinnon.
With great sadness to hear about Dr Desautels passing. He was the doctor that delivered me and my sister at birth. And I later became friends with his son Todd in Calgary. All the best. Norm Banville
To the Desautels Family – Please accept our condolences on Leo’s passing. We didn’t know him well, but we spent some engaging evenings of conversation with him and Lona. Eric joins me in sending our sympathy to all of you. Janice
To the Desautels family. I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Leo. I have many memories of spending so much time at your house as a kid and being very careful not to scratch the Model T in the garage, which he had fixed up so nice. He was always good to me, even though I was a little afraid of his loud voice (especially when he was mad at you Tim). My thoughts are with you all at this time.
