Obituary of Brian HUTCHINSON

January 5, 1960 – Brentwood Essex, England  
April 10, 2021 – Foothills, Alberta

Brian Hutchinson, beloved husband of Susan Hutchinson (nee Dedross) of Foothills, AB, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

Brian was born in Brentwood, Essex in England on January 5, 1960. He moved to Telford, Shropshire in 1984. He immigrated to Canada from England with his family in 1997. Brian graduated from Hedley Walter School in 1976 and went on to Chelmsford College to take an apprenticeship as a machine operator. He joined the West Mercia Police in 1987 and was stationed in Telford Shropshire.

Brian married Sue April 2, 1982. He was a part-time school bus driver for the Foothills School division.  He loved the interaction with all the children. Brian changed careers one last time to become a Health and Safety Consultant and enjoyed working with many different people from all walks of life in many different countries.
Brian’s passion was his bar and his beer brewing. Brian had many memorable family vacations in France and his last vacation in Antigua. Brian’s favourite sayings were “It’s not a fire unless you can see it from space.” and “You work to live, you don’t live to work.”

He will be most remembered for his sense of humour, his brightly coloured goatee and his love of tinkering around.

Besides his loving wife, Brian is survived by his two daughters and two sons-in-law, Emma and Langdon of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Vicki and Cam of Calgary, Alberta; and one grandchild Kiera of Foothills, Alberta. Brian is also survived by his two brothers and sister-in-law, Colin and Cheryl of NSW, Australia and Alan of Brighton, Sussex, England; and one brother-in-law Ian and wife Joyce of Quedgeley, Gloucester, England; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Brian was predeceased by Mum Renee and Dad Bill.
