Obituary of Loriann (Lori) Catherine COSGROVE

April 18, 1960 – Wabowden, Manitoba
April 7, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of a loving and much-loved sister and friend on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the age of 60 years. 

Lori was born in Wabowden, MB on April 18, 1960. She attended high school in Prince Albert, graduated from Red River Community College in Winnipeg and later obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Saskatchewan. Lori worked for the Toronto Dominion Bank for over thirty-four years. Lori loved her cat, Belle who was mischievous and provided Lori much happiness.  Lori loved the arts and enjoyed going to theatre. Lori enjoyed going to farmers markets and trying different restaurants. She was a generous person and when the opportunity arose gave to others. Lori was such a wonderful and kind person. She always wanted to make difference in life and take on new challenges. She was a Big Sister and volunteered in other ways to provide support to various organizations. Her sense of humor and smile could light up a room. Thank you for being part of our lives and what you did to make everyone’s life a little brighter. 

Lori was predeceased by her brother Kim, mother Sarah, and father Larry. She is survived by her brother Tim Hruska. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the South Hill Cemetery in Prince Albert, SK. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
