Dear Mark & Kim, Amanda, Mark and families,
Please accept our condolences on the passing of your father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Beautiful obituary, your Dad was obviously a very interesting, loving, generous and accomplished man, a life very well lived.
We have so many wonderful memories at the Lake! Our family is so grateful you always opened your home to us and made us feel like family. It will not be the same without you there every summer. We love you all and miss you for sure!
Love,
Wendy, Shawn and Maddy
I will never forget the invite to Calgary for me and my brother James when we were in grade school. Joe and Carole put on such an amazing tour. Highlights included a night visit to see the paper get printed and where Uncle Joe was clearly a big deal. The high water mark was our first ever pro hockey game where we got to witness “The Great One” in action. Jamie was a life-long hockey fanatic and #99 was his all-time hero. I know this was a best-ever memory for him. Joe was a kind and generous man.

We will always remember Uncle Joe as a kind and generous man. Growing up, he was like a father to Joyce and her siblings, always helping with whatever was needed, and opening up the cottage at Jessica Lake every summer to the entire family. We’ll remember the boat rides, roasting marshmallows, and lots of laughs for years to come.
There was nothing Uncle Joe couldn’t do. Whether it was building the cottage from the ground up, fixing things around the house, or offering helpful advice, Uncle Joe was always there for us.
Rest in Peace Uncle Joe. Thanks for everything. We'll miss you.
Love Joyce, Bob, Andrea and Diana Dunn
