Obituary of Erna (Lynne) SKRAPEK

April 21, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep and tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Erna Lynne Skrapek on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Lynne passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a long battle with dementia. 

Lynne was a devoted wife and best friend to Richard, her husband of fifty-one years, who passed before her in 2016. Lynne was a cherished mother to Tracy Kendall (Terrance) and Audra Hyde (Tim); and proud grandmother to Connor, Nolan, Delaney and Mari. Lynne is also survived by her much adored sister Maureen McDannold. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. 

The family would like to acknowledge the care team on the fourth floor at Carewest Garrison Green in Calgary. They provided kind and compassionate care to our mother in the last year of her life, for which our family will be forever grateful. 

We are at peace knowing her battle is over and her soul is at rest. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
