Keesha Faith Crawler, beloved Mother of Calilyn and Donovan, passed away on Sunday April 18, 2021 in Morley, Alberta.

Keesha was born on December 11, 1997 in Calgary, Alberta, to parents Heather and Kelly Poucette. Keesha loved her family and took great pride in her culture. She was known for her shy, gentle spirit. She showed love, kindness and compassion for everyone and a willingness to help those around her. Keesha loved the outdoors and spent many summers at cultural camps with her family. She was raised with the Stoney traditions and cultural values, which she practiced and passed on to her children. Keesha took many as her family, each with its own unique connection.

She received her education at Morley Community School, Exshaw School, and Canmore Collegiate High School. It is during her school years that she made a lot of friends that became life-long friends and family to her. Keesha was proud of her accomplishments, including when she was a participant for an on-the-job training program with the Job Seekers Club through the Stoney Nation Job Resource Center, which she successfully completed.  

Along with her children, Calilyn and Donovan, Keesha is also survived by her parents, Heather and Kelly Poucette; brothers, Dana (Tianna), Kelton, Kelly Jr., Alex (Tacy); sister Jerrika (Joni); her paternal grandparents, Ina, Darrel, and Ade Glen; maternal grandparents, Ȋnȃ Margaret, Ade Terry, Umpa Lawrence, and Sykes. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Crawler, Poucette, Benjamin, Chiniquay, Stephens, Powderface, Beaver, Brooks, Rider, Lefthand, Mark, Wesley, Powder, House, Holloway, Rollingmud, Dixon, and Hunter families; as well as those she adopted as her family.  
    
Keesha was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Bertha, great-grandparents, Jacob and Hanna; paternal great-grandparents, John and Nora; and great-grandmother Beatrice.
