It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son Donnie Edmond Kash Dixon, at the age of 25 years.

Kash was born April 9, 1996 in Calgary, Alberta. He was raised in Morley, Alberta, and at an early age he found his passion for hockey and baseball. He advocated for both sports by travelling to his games and always encouraging his friends and family to participate. Kash spent all his minor hockey years playing with the Bowness Bruins Hockey Association, where he became well known for his talented defensive skills. He spent his final years playing alongside all his brothers with the Nakoda Wild Jr. Hockey team. He loved his community and took every opportunity to represent them.

Kash’s self-taught determination led him to becoming an exceptional guitarist, he loved to play and sing country and classic rock songs. Kash was raised around horses and rodeo and would always lend a hand when needed when it came to ranch work. He worked alongside Bob Wilson and the D45 ranch and for the Dodging Horse Ranch as a ranch hand. Kash was a very kind and humble young man and will always be known for his love and respect towards others.
