Peter MacKinnon of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully in his home on the afternoon of Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 57 years; joining his beloved, Kate in Eternal Rest. We take comfort knowing they are together.

Peter will be missed dearly by many. Friends and family will remember him from the AC/DC music they hear, the impish grin of a grandchild and in the wind off of a passing Harley. His quiet fortitude and indomitable will made him easy to respect and love. Cherished are the memories, treasured remainder of love given and received.

Peter is survived by his daughter Karen Nelson, granddaughter Daphne Nelson, stepdaughter Bella; and stepsons, Hank and Randy. He is also survived by his sisters, Jacqueline  and Mary-Josephine MacKinnon.

He was predeceased by his beloved, Katherine (Kate) Marsden, his parents, Stephen and Ethel MacKinnon.
