Obituary of Anne McCONNELL

December 20, 1934 – Candiac, Saskatchewan
April 30, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

Anne McConnell (nee Kotylak) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 86 years. 

Anne left Candiac, SK and moved to Vancouver, BC for many years before moving to Calgary in 1976 for a job with the bank. She enjoyed a long career with the Bank of Nova Scotia and when she retired, she continued her love of numbers volunteering for numerous charities. She enjoyed watching curling, baseball and was a big fan of football, especially the Calgary Stampeders. Anne will be remembered for her kind and generous heart and the incredible joy and attention she provided to her pets and to all of her grand doggies. 

Anne is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters, Sandra McConnell of Calgary, AB and Marilyn and son-in-law Greg Wile of Vancouver, BC as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Anne was the ‘baby’ in the Kotylak family. She was predeceased by parents, Steve and Mary; her brothers, William, John, Henry, Alec and Paul; and sister Irene.
