Our most sincere condolences to Wayne and the rest of the family as you mourn the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Living next to Wayne and Donna all these years, it is so easy to take for granted that we would see you at our next Happy Hour neighborhood gathering. We are saddened that we were unable to get together after your move to the city with all of the Covid restrictions. Now even moreso knowing Donna will not be there to share with us. Donna is in our hearts and thoughts as are all of you during this difficult time. May your memories of her kind heart, winning smile, gentle nature and affinity for 'being' with everyone so easily help heal your hearts over time. Love and hugs, The Rowat Family
To Wayne and Family: It is with sadness and sympathy that we would like to extend our deepest condolences in the loss of your dear wife and mother, Donna. We remember the utmost compassion and sincerity that she displayed when we had the chance to gather be it with a "social function" at the acreage or celebration of an event or gathering. We feel blessed to have witnessed her humility and kindness, always with a smile and care for everyone. She will be missed but remembered with honour and dignity. Sincerely, we are praying that those vivid memories will never cease. God Bless. Take Care. Barry, Cheryl, Daniel and Hannah Blischak
Sincere condolences to Wayne and family in this time of grief and mourning. Donna was indeed a special soul. I have fond memories of Donna's hospitality when she would co-host with Wayne the annual Saint Francis Social Studies Department barbeque at the Selinger acreage. Donna always made a point of taking time to chat with each and every guest, and no one ever had an empty plate or glass for long! I know the void will be large without her, but I pray that a wealth of memories will sustain and comfort you.
To the Selinger Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I had the pleasure of teaching with her many years ago at St. Patrick Elementary School. Donna was a kind, gentle, giving person. I can only imagine what a wonderful grandmother she was. She talked of her family often and I know she loved you all with all her heart.
I hope memories of happy times with Donna will bring you peace and comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Donna was a wonderful person who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We have been friends with Donna since 1975, when Greg started teaching with Wayne at St. Francis, and our families have shared many happy times and wonderful memories together. We have been truly blessed by her presence through the years, and we will cherish those happy memories forever.
Our deepest sympathy go out to Wayne and her family in this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Donna. I had the privilege of teaching with Donna at St. Patrick School. She played a very important part in my career as a mentor offering me unconditional support and guidance. Her dedication, kindness and patience with students and coworkers was truly inspiring. My prayers and thought are with Wayne, Daniel, Tara and the grandchildren. I know Donna will be greatly missed.
With sincere sympathy,
Linda Reid
I am sad to hear of the passing of Donna. I worked with her at Msgr. Hetherington school where she taught grade 2 and I taught grade 3. We became friends and I attended the district retirement banquet with her group. I remember the stories that were told of Donna's teaching career there. She was loved as a teacher by many. After she retired, Donna was a guest teacher for my colleagues and I at Our Lady of Fatima school. At that time, I really had a chance to witness firsthand her love and dedication to her chosen profession. She would stay late marking papers for the teachers she was filling in for. I had never seen a guest teacher stay late before! We all wanted Donna to guest teach for us! After I had children, I began guest teaching. I have never forgotten how Donna went above and beyond in that role. She has been an example to me of how I could be the best I could be as a guest teacher. She left her mark. She will be missed. Sending my condolences.

I was blessed to do my first Practicum Teaching with Donna. Her grace, kindness and dedication to her students taught me so much about teaching and I have carried that with me throughout my own teaching career. Wayne was one of my high school teachers at St. Francis so my prayers go out to her and all of her family.
