Condolences
I'm sending our deepest condolences to the entire Whale family. We will be praying for you during this difficult time of loss. Aunt Muriel and him created a wonderful family together that is still growing and is an exceptional legacy to both of them.
It is sad to see the last of a generation gone.
Uncle Bill was always great about coming to visit us in Ontario and it was always great to see him and Aunt Muriel and sometimes their kids. We were only able to visit him in Alberta once, but we had a great visit.
A fond memory I have of him was when he was working and staying in Toronto and he took Cathy and I there with him when were just teenagers. We were 2 country bumpkins who had hardly traveled and he gave us tickets to a football game. He just let us go by bus and subway to the stadium all by ourselves. We couldn't believe it! We made it just fine and had our first taste of a big city. We had a wonderful time.
We are going to miss him even though our visits were not frequent. The last time I phoned him was in February and he was still just as clever as ever. We thank him for putting together our family tree that he was so passionate and knowledgeable about and for his help with the farm, many years ago.
God bless
