Frances (Frankye) Belanger was born in Calgary, AB, on August 16, 1948, growing up in the communities of Renfrew and Brentwood. She passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the age of 72 years having spent her last days surrounded by her loving family.

Frankye worked hard, continuing her education while always working full time. Her strength and determination lead her to a successful career as an Accountant.

As a young, dedicated single mom, Frankye raised three beautiful children, Brian, Rodney and Tammy; cherishing every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandma to RJ and Hunter. Frankye was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She brought joy to everyone she met. 

Over the years, Frankye developed a passion for quilting and sewing. In doing so, she expressed her love for others through the numerous quilts and baby clothing she gifted to family and friends. These treasured gifts will be a lasting memory for so many. 

Frankye is survived by her son Brian (Paula) Belanger, daughter Tammy Belanger, grandsons, RJ and Hunter Belanger; brother Tom Camac, niece and nephew, Crystal (Ian) Pangilinan and Michael Camac; great-nieces and nephews, Ethan, Lucas and Nate Pangilinan, and Emily, Breanna, and Evan Camac; and numerous cousins. Frankye was predeceased by her son Rodney Belanger, and parents, Lillian and Kenneth Camac.
