Condolences
To All the Brown Family -
Pauline Brown was a wonderful person of great poise and quiet influence. She played an important role in the PPCLI family as the wife of George Brown, our third Colonel of the Regiment and for many years a significant regimental figure. She was an excellent partner to George. Pauline brought her elegance into every room and was a bedrock for the large family life that the Browns enjoyed. The PPCLI family was very happy to have known Pauline for as long as we did.

Blossomed the lovely stars,
the forget-me-nots of the angels." Evangeline

My heart is full of memories that go back to 1967, when I met Pauline. I fell in love with her son whom I would later marry. She was always an inspriation to me -a woman who excelled in all she did. Over the years she became my mother-in law and then the grandmother to my 3 childten. Then there were 2 great grandchildren. Although we lived far apart, we continued to get closer over the years. Since Mike, her son, passed away, we shared that bond that we had through him.
My heart goes out to Steve and Salima who have benn giving her such good care through these last months. Such love was showered on her! Thank you both, so much!
I will choose to believe that Pauline had accepted Jesus into her heart and trusted him to bring her to heaven. I don’t know if it happened when she was young or when she took her last breath. All I know is that I believe that when she slipped out of her body, like a hand slips out of a glove, she was not alone. Jesus was with her, holding her hand and leading her into glory. She is now safe with Him and with Mike, George and Granny who were there waiting there for her.
Love you lots, Mum. I'll see you when I get there.
Linda
