Condolences
I was so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing, my deepest sympathy goes out to Judy and family. Jerry was a hard working individual and the world was a better place with his presence. I started working at the Calgary Construction Association in 1984 when Jerry was the Chairman of the Board of the organization. Over the years Jerry would always find the time to stop at the association to say "HELLO", and I would always be greeted with his handshake like no other, that big grin on his face and sparkle in his eye, his opening words were always "How you doing Smitty?" Jerry was a genuine individual with integrity second to none, and respected by all. Jerry gave back to the construction industry in so many ways....he will certainly be missed, but never forgotten.

Judy & Family,
There are just no words to convey my sincere condolences. Jerry was such a character and could always bring on a smile or a laugh. There are so many fond memories to look back on ~ laughing at him and Joel cooking the lutefisk, golf tournaments, bowling, swedish jokes or attending Lucia as the jolly guy in the red suit. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Much love to you all

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jerry. I have such fond memories of Jerry while working at the Calgary Construction Association. I'll always remember him for his infectious smile and friendly attitude on his regular visits to the CCA plan room. Jerry's volunteer work on the CCA Board of Directors as well as other associations was a true sign of his commitment to the construction industry. I am so very grateful to have known Jerry and to have had the opportunity to reconnect with him a few months back.
May your memories comfort you at this most difficult time.

Will Dear Judy and family
Our sincere condolences to all
We were fortunate to meet Jerry 60 years ago when he joined Branting Swedish Lodge.
We have so many wonderful memories of camping, skiing, golfing, curling and trips together last but not least our trip to Sweden to see his father's birthplace and meet many family members.
We will forever miss his friendship and smiling face, singing and playing guitar.
He will live forever in our hearts.

Dear Judy, Geoff and family. Our deepest condolences on the passing of Jerry. He was one of a kind. I'll never forget the first time I met him, he ate about a dozen corn on the cobs, while telling jokes and giving Geoff the gears He told me how thrilled he was to have young grandkids again when Eddie and Hugo came along. Truly a proud Grandfather. We'll miss seeing him at birthdays and holiday parties. Big love and hugs from all of us. Al, Jaime, Lilli, and Xav. xoxo

I will miss the Swede!! I always enjoyed our golf games and the many socials we had together with Gerry playing the singing and telling the odd joke. Often for my benefit, me being Norwegian .Judy my sincere condolences. He was a great friend that I will always remember.
To Judy and Family,
We send to you our sincerest condolences on the news of Jerry's passing.
He was a person that made a positive impression from the first time you met him and it only got better from there.
I had the pleasure of working with Jerry and we also got to experience a couple of his performances with the guitar, his jokes and his quick wit. Most memorable experiences we will always cherish. He will be truly missed.
But we also know that he is in a better place now, with no pain, and maybe he will be able to get in a few rounds of golf with some of his old friends, including our dad George.
Take Care and Stay Well

I am sending my sincere condolences to you all. I was fortunate to be one of Jerry’s friends and once you became a friend of Jerry, you had a life time friend. Jerry’s smile, infectious laugh and sense of humour will be missed by all whose lives he touched. I know he will be telling his Ollie and Lena jokes to his friends in his pain free life
Take care
