Obituary of Pat DAVIES (nee Sullivan)

May 12, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Pat Davies of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

Pat was born to Emily and Cyril Jones on March 6th, 1930 in Shropshire, England.  In 1948 the family immigrated to Canada.  Pat worked as a lifeguard for the city of Calgary for twenty-five years, taught numerous friends and family members how to swim and made many lifetime friends. Pat raised her four children with Bill Sullivan. She later married Harry Davies and spent many years in the Kootnays. Pat had an affinity for water and enjoyed swimming and waterskiing late into her golden years. She loved biking, golfing, gardening and being outdoors. Pat loved traveling both in and outside of Canada. Her life was rich with family and friends.

Pat is survived by her children, Daya Jepsen (Ron) of Australia, Karen Dunne, Ted Sullivan and Kathy Rohl (Dave) all of Calgary, AB; and sister Wendy Drozdzik of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, Zac (Jess), Makoto and Amritha (Caleb) Jepsen, Jessica (Shane) Wolf, Angela (Dallas) Hagel, Trina (Rob) Dunne, Cory Hewer, Devon and Everett Sullivan and Tyler and Melissa Rohl; and six great-grandchildren, Kye Jepsen, Hayden, Easton and Emmett Wolf and Malakai and Rafael Hewer.
