Condolences
Lucy and family,
So sorry for our late condolences on your loss. We know that Jerry had been sick for a long time, but the pain of losing a loved one is always so hard. Our hearts and souls go out to you and all who knew him. We knew Jerry as a great neighbour, however, we learned so much more about him from his obituary. He was such an amazing man, son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. We are so sorry for your loss. Sincere condolences. May he Rest in Peace.
Lucy, Kathleen, Jacy and Justine,
I am so sorry to read of Jerry’s passing. My memories of him will always be of a quiet man but always with a huge smile and willingness to help. My deepest condolences to all of you and your whole family. Take care of each other.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Judy Kallos
Sometime last year, Suzanne and I were out for a walk along Scotsman's Hill and we came across my Tito Jerry. It had been a while since I had seen him because of the pandemic. I was happy he was outside enjoying the weather and we were able to briefly catch up. We snapped a few photos with the view of the Saddledome and the downtown skyscrapers in the background.
I will always remember his voice welcoming me into his home and picking crabapples from the tree in the yard growing up. I'm sad we missed getting together for Christmas last year but I look back on the ones before and remember them fondly. Unfortunate how we sometimes learn more about someone once they are gone but your story and memory will live on forever through our family.
Rest in peace Tito. Thank you and we will miss you.
We are very sorry for your loss. Condolence to you, tita Lucy, and the rest of your children. We pray that got gives you and your family solace during these difficult times. God bless you always.

Along with the other members of the Reyes family, I deeply mourn the loss of our Tito Jerry, a man whose presence was a fixture in my life as a child, now adult. In preparation of writing this tribute I had recalled the thousands of memories which told the story of someone who was kind, gentle, and generous.
However, one memory stands out the most. Years ago, I was late to a family event and missed the group photo. When I arrived, Tito Jerry said something to the affect of, “When you’re old like me, you will look back at pictures you’re not in and ask ‘why wasn’t I there?’”
In the aftermath of his passing, I look back through the photographs of major events in my and my family’s life: all the Christmas parties, weddings, vacations abroad, road trips, graduations, and milestone birthdays. Tito Jerry was someone who put his family above all else. He was always in those photos.
I’m sad we can’t make more memories together, but I’m thankful for the ones I did get to have.
We will miss you.

Lucy and Family. My deepest condolences. Jerry was always a smiling face and a wonderful energy of the Reyes Family. I love the comment about a Girl's dad before it was cool! :) He was indeed, surrounded by strong women and handled that with grace.
Love and strength to all.
The Fong’s would like to offer our deepest condolences to Lucy, Kathleen, Jacy, Justine and the entire Reyes Family. We remember Jerry with great fondness; from his many enduring traits to the personal connections he made, leaving an everlasting impression on you. From Patricia remembering his big smiles, booming laughs and firm handshakes, to Fred’s memories of his kindness, affability, devotion, optimism and that deep, rich voice. Not sure how many had heard him sing, but Fred had, on that Karaoke evening, in his house, with some friends. The deep, rich sound still lingers. Andrew remembers his godfather as a kind-hearted and loving individual who always seemed to be in a good mood, always asking how you were doing while occasionally asking which car he liked. One of Iny’s vivid memories of Jerry, apart from the many enjoyable conversations they shared, was his ability to dance. She was introduced to his first class dance moves after watching him dance with Kathleen as she was entering adulthood. Later on, that same night, he followed it up with a lovely slow dance with Lucy. “What a great dancer!”
Most importantly we remember Jerry’s never ending love and devotion for his family and friends, always putting others before himself. We will miss him but take comfort knowing that he is with God, looking down on us, with that big, big smile.
Lucy - I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the girls. Wishing you solace in your faith in the days to come. Sue Pozak

I’m so grateful to have Tito Jerry in my life for as long as I did. Some of my most cherished memories with him are the simplest ones; hearing stories at the Berwick dinner table about my mom, aunts and uncles as kids, and watching ANY sports game that was on TV that night. I’m going to miss seeing him rock the newest Ralph Lauren collection in at least 4 different colours, and him telling me to eat some more BBQ skewers and dessert (that I definitely wasn’t allowed to eat).
I was fortunate to visit him one last time, a week before he passed. Tita Lucy was telling us about his time rehabbing in physiotherapy and he even gave a live demonstration of his progress. Soon after, he was struggling to take off his Apple Watch. Naturally Tita Lucy tried to help him, but he immediately swatted her hand away and took off his watch in one smooth motion. That moment will always make me grin, knowing my notoriously calm uncle still had some feistiness left in him.
I’m devastated that we lost such an integral part of our family, but I’m at peace knowing he is reunited with my mom, Grandma and Grandpa. I’m glad I got to play a small part in his life, as he was such a big part of mine and anyone else who was lucky to know him.
Condolences to Tita Lucy, Kathleen, Jacy and Justine and the rest of the Reyes' Clan. Tito Jerry was a wonderful man and always full of life. We have so many memories of him. He will be missed and May he Rest In Peace. Love, The Edillon's

May the Lord grant you and your family courage and strength in your bereavement!

Condolence Atching Lucy and to the whole family. I am grateful to be able to meet you and Koyang Jerry when I visited Calgary. You were strangers but did not stop you from extending your generosity to me because we were from Bacolor. I am fortunate to meet you both. I will always pray for Koyang Jerry, may he rest in peace. Again, my sincerest condolences.

Dad, I am so grateful that we got to travel together so much. From the road trips and camping to flying around the world, we were able to see a lot as a family. I'll always cherish the memories of you patiently waiting for me to pick out the books I wanted at Barnes & Noble in Seattle, and then taking me to get ice cream and chicken fingers at the QVC. You always told everyone about how much your girls loved reading, and then would tell them how we saved so much money because of going to the library and then reading books in bookstores!
Thank you for everything. You have earned your rest. I will you hold you close in my heart forever.
