Obituary of Liliana DE LUCA (nee Del Ciotto)

October 5, 1958 – Francavilla Al Mare, Chieti, Italy
May 29, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, sister, nonna, zia and friend on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 62 years. 

Liliana is survived by her devoted husband Antonio and their sons, Giuseppe (Carol) and Davide. As the youngest of eight siblings, Liliana sadly leaves behind, Erminia, Iolanda, Frank (Lucy), Bruna (Tony), Giuliano (Chris) and Maria (Mark). Her two beloved grandchildren, Siena and Romano will hold Liliana forever in their hearts as will her numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be fondly remembered by her colleagues at Winsport Canada where she worked for thirty-two years. 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 during a Public Viewing that adheres to current COVID protocols from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Liliana will be remembered in a Private Funeral Service held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join Liliana’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording will be posted. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
