Obituary of Margaret Olive LAVIGNE

August 7, 1940 – May 30, 2021 

 

On May 30, 2021, Margaret “Muggs” passed away peacefully surrounded by family at

Agecare Skypointe in Calgary, Alberta.


Muggs will be lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-four years, Ernie;

daughters, Patty and Jackie (Leo); granddaughter Kimberlie; sisters, Carmon (Frank)

and Shannon (Les); brothers, Michael (Pam) and Doug (Nora); as well as numerous

nieces and nephews. 

 

She was predeceased by her sons, Darren and Stewart; son-in-law Mark; parents,

Robert and Margaret “Peggy”; brothers, Wayne and Denny; and sister Joyce.

 

Due to Covid restrictions, a Private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June

12, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join Mrs. Lavigne’s service

streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view

live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos

can also be shared and viewed here.

 

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the
