Condolences
Dear Barb and Family,
So sad to hear of Dave's passing on May 31. What a wonderful life you had together and so many happy memories. I met you both in 1959 at the young couples club at Pleasant Heights United Church. More recently was when we were all active members of Wild Rose United church ushering, Mens' Breakfast and as Dave and I almost shared the same birthday - I was 6 days older than Dave, we had many joint celebrations at church with huge cakes to share. at the coffee time after church. A favourite early days remembrance from Pleasant Heights days was how much fun we had with regular social programs once a month. One time you, Dave, my first wife Mary and I organized a dance with a Hawaii theme and the four of us put plain newspaper print all over the floor on our unfinished basement of our new house in North haven and painted theme blue to look like water to go around the church hall. Things and entertainment were sure simpler in those days as young couples and we sure had a lot of good times.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time andd know that Dave will be really missed by so many people.
With love, blessings and huge hugs,
Keith Fewster

Condolences to Barb and family on the loss of a long time hockey buddy from the Valley. Rest Easy
I met Dave in the early 80's on a CWNG committee where we reviewed suggestions for improvements. I became a fan of Dave and his quite, kind way of looking at things. I loved that I was reacquainted with Dave, and met Barb, when I retired. I especially loved laughing at the golfing outings and shots we made and really missed! Gail Strasser
My deepest condolences to the family of a man who exemplified kindness and humility. Dave will always be remembered (by me) for his positive attitude and friendly smile.

Sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. I got to know Dave when I was promoted to District Agent of the Cochrane Agency. Dave worked for me and helped me get my directions before he moved to a new position in Calgary. We remained good friends over the years with CWNG. Dave had a great work ethic and was very well respected by the Customers he served. My sympathies to all Dave’s family. From Warren and Margaret Davidson
