Obituary of Edward (Eddie) Lawrence EISLER

September 21, 1932 – Cadomin, Alberta - March 15, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

With great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Eisler on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

Eddie is survived by his loving family, wife Sonia; children, Lawrence and Karyn and his brother Felix. He is also survived by his cousins, Jonči, Agnjica, Willi and Joško; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Eddie was predeceased by his parents, Felix and Paula, sister Paula, and cousin Franz. His sister Agnes passed away a few weeks after Eddie’s passing.

Eddie will be greatly missed, yet we know his spirit is free and joyous as he enters the next phase of his journey. He will be laid to rest at Mountain Park Cemetery, just up the road from his birthplace, nestled in Alberta’s Northern Rocky Mountains he so dearly loved.

“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7
